Please don’t hesitate to contact me with questions about this site or your situation. You can also call or email me to get a feel for whether we are a good match to work together. To contact me or schedule an appointment, please call me at (503) 757-6259 or email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . (If you use email, please read the confidentiality disclaimer about email at the bottom of this page.) I will ask you about your decision to seek counseling at this time and we can work out a time to meet. My office is located in Portland, OR, at 3430 SE Belmont Avenue. This building also houses the Tao of Tea, a small performance arts theater, and an acupuncture practice. On your first visit you can enter the large front doors and take a seat on one of the benches in the main entry room--my office is upstairs and I'll come down to meet you at our scheduled time. I offer a liberal sliding fee option, based on your income and my caseload availability. If you have any questions about my fee, please feel free to be forthright and make me an offer—it’s likely we can work something out! My standard fee for an individual 50 minute session is $80. My standard fee for a 50 minute couples’ session is $100; an 80 minute couples’ session is $150. I ask that you give me 24 hours notice if you need to cancel our scheduled session. I typically give one “freebie” on this policy, after which I will bill you full fee for the missed session. Confidentiality disclaimer for email: It is important to be aware that email communication can be relatively easily accessed by unauthorized people and hence can compromise the privacy and confidentiality of such communication. Emails are vulnerable to such unauthorized access due to the fact that servers have unlimited and direct access to all emails that go through them. A non-encrypted email, as mine are, is even more vulnerable to unauthorized access. Please notify Alec Wilson, M.S., if you decide to avoid or limit, in any way, the use of email. Unless I hear from you otherwise, I will continue to communicate with you via email when necessary or appropriate. Please do not use email for emergencies. While I check my phone messages frequently during the day when I am in town, I do not always check my emails daily.
